Our company was founded in 1978 to become a reference point for the stone industry and Italian and foreign designers/architects. We have always carried out many and varied activities in the industry on an international level, from promotion to research and technical consultancy.

The strength of our team lies in the variety of skills and close working relationships we have managed to build over the years.

Our activities include monitoring the trends in the world stone industry, analysing the market trends and working with research centres and institutions in the management of study and technology transfer projects.

We work side by side with institutions, associations and companies in creating the right promotional events to enable architects and designers to use natural stone products in the best way possible.

We offer consultancy and technical assistance to companies and professionals so that their increased knowledge of materials and technology will help them to become even more competitive in the industry.
The Internazionale Marmi e Macchine Carrara SpA led the way to the creation of CarraraFiere Srl and CarraraCongressi Srl; the three companies are managed separately, each by its own Board of Directors.

CarraraFiere manages the exhibition centre in Marina di Carrara, which extends over an area of 95.000 sqm, 34.000 of which is indoors. CarraraFiere organises its own programme of events as well as being the venue for many other national and international events, exhibitions and shows. These include the annual CarraraMarmotec, Fiera Internazionale Marmi Tecnologie e Design.
